Stainless steel. 304 stainless steel is a durable jewelry steel. It holds a polish and does not rust in normal wear.
PVD coating. PVD is a hard vacuum coating bonded to the steel. Gold PVD coating is not solid gold. Colored finishes wear longer than cheap plating. Clean with a soft cloth. Avoid bleach.
